JOB SUMMARY
Productive Playhouse is a leader in transcription services, providing responsive attention and accuracy to support clients' needs. As the Malay Proofreader / Quality Control Reviewer , you are responsible for reviewing the work completed on-site and remotely to ensure it meets the client's quality standards. Your reliability and attention to detail are key to ensuring our team's quality and compliance.
This position is both ongoing and project-based, offering flexibility and variety. It's part-time, requiring 8-12 hours per week, and our office is open seven days a week to accommodate project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Please note: Due to our client's strict data security policies, applicants should be aware that personal items, including electronics such as phones and other electronic devices, will not be allowed in the workspace. Any personal items will need to be stored in provided lockers outside of the actual working environment. Employees are able to leave the workspace to use their phones outside the office if needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review completed work, citing all issues as they pertain to the quality of the work
- Create and report daily quality logs to the On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
- Maintain a clear understanding of the client's guidelines and quality expectations
- Direct project-related questions to the On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
- Report violations of security clean room policies, reporting violations to the On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
- Suggest opportunities for improvements to the On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
- Expert in hired language
- Thoughtful communication among all levels, offering clear and timely feedback
- Maintain continuous knowledge of client and industry clean room standards
- Ability to identify patterns of commonality and concerns
- Navigate situations effectively with professionalism and ease
- Precise attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Proficient on PC and Google Suite
- US work authorization(the company cannot provide sponsorship)
- Able to commute to our office
- 18+ years of age
- Expert in Malay (you will be asked to take a language assessment)
- Ability to understand a wide variety of Malay-speaking accents and dialects
- Must have previous professional experience working in the specified language
- Strongly preferred: formal education at the secondary level in the specified language
- Preferred: formal education at the post-secondary level in the specified language
- Preferred: Masters or Ph.D. studies in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or in the specified language
