The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Orthopedic Institute is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery to join our team serving the greater Pittsburgh area.  Play an essential role in providing surgical care with a premier academic Medical System affiliated with Drexel University Medical School. As a major teaching facility, Allegheny Health Network serves as a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and provides orthopedic care in all subspecialties.

 

You will serve pediatric patients with general orthopedic conditions including, but not limited to: limb deformity correction, hip diseases, clubfeet, foot deformities, cerebral palsy, and a large array of neuromuscular conditions in addition to routine trauma and fracture care.

 

This position offers an ideal opportunity for leadership, professional growth, research, and academic involvement. We welcome established physicians as well as support newer physicians who are looking to develop their skills and grow their career.  The Allegheny Health Network Pediatric Orthopedic Surgical division is supported by a growing Pediatric Institute with 42 pediatricians and multiple pediatric outpatient facilities. This position will be located at Wexford Hospital, AHNs newest state-of-the-art hospital, within the North Hills of Pittsburgh.

Job Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Completion or in the process of completing a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • PA License.
  • DEA and CPR Certification required prior to employment.
  • Commitment to an academic career.
