Job Description

Our team is looking for someone who has a creative background and experience writing rich presentations for senior executives. Analysis is preferred but it’s OK if the person is not technical or with advanced analytics skills.

Title: Data Analyst with Power BI Report

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

1. Build effective and visually rich presentations to represent data in a meaningful way.
2. Work with data scientists to build insights based on the data on hand and theme of the study.
3. Communicate effectively with partners.
4. Work in a very agile environment to deliver with a quick turnaround.

Qualifications:

Required:

1. 4+ years of experience building visually rich presentations for senior executives and business managers.
2. Excel pivoting, charts, and slice-dice data.
3. Intermediate data analysis experience and insights generation.
4. Strong experience with data visualization in Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Excellent communication skills – ability to understand the requirements and present the story in a meaningful way.
6. Good program management and change management skills – ability to work in a very agile environment with quick turnaround.

Preferred:

1. Market research experience in the consumer space.
2. Experience with SQL programming – ability to query data from SQL databases and cubes.
3. Experience working in marketing teams.
4. Experience with statistical tools like SAS/R (desirable).
