Onsite – Buffalo, NYMoog’s Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) is looking for a Group IT Director to oversee the IT vision, strategy and leadership for all Commercial Aircraft Divisions and sites. You will report to the GVP, Finance & Business Management and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
To be considered for Group IT Director role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred
Minimum ten (10) years of professional IT experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
Minimum five (5) years leading teams and being involved in strategic decision making
Demonstrated success in identifying and capturing value from advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, digital manufacturing, and/or other significant technology trends
Strong Business & Financial acumen
Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
As the Group IT Director, you will:
Provide IT vision, strategy and leadership for all Group businesses and sites.
Serve as liaison between Commercial Aircraft Group and Corporate IT to ensure successful service delivery execution and end user experience of enterprise IT services.
Ensure smooth execution of all corporate transformational initiatives (e.g. SAP, PLM, etc.)
Partner with Group, Division and Functional leadership on understanding business strategies and needs and building IT solutions and roadmaps to support those.
Mature the IT organization so that it is a key enabler of the business which includes both innovative solutions and initiatives that maximize operational efficiencies and drive business value.
Spearhead business intelligence initiatives to drive better decision making.
Manage, lead, and develop the Commercial Aircraft Group IT team.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
