A day in the life of an Inpatient Program Director can look like:
- Oversee operations on the Behavioral Health Unit, focusing on Care, Community, and Compliance.
- Lead, manage, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on quality patient care and providing services ordered by a physician.
- Energetically lead, implement, and deliver community education on inpatient unit to facility staff, local medical facilities, and community members through presentations, events, and one-on-one conversations.
- Train, educate, lead, and manage the inpatient care teams, creating a team culture of kindness and accountability.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred .
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia required
- Experience working in psychiatric behavioral health preferred
- 5 years Management experience preferred
- BLS required
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- On-site training will be provided
