Department Overview:
Nurses in the Telehealth Nursing department demonstrate strong competency in using various telecommunication technologies to provide direct virtual nursing care. Telehealth Nursing RNs triage, prioritize patient needs, collaborate with patients to develop care plans, direct them to the appropriate level of care, and provide referrals to Emory services and other resources to ensure a comprehensive care experience. Telehealth Nursing LPNs assist patients with prescription management across specialties.

Clinical Nurse Educator / RN Telehealth Nursing
*A multistate nursing license is required for this Telehealth role.
Shift: Full Time, 7am-5:30pm
Location: The Emory Clinic, Northlake Campus, 4800 Briarcliff Rd, Atlanta, GA 30345
We are seeking a capable Clinical Nurse Educator who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients, and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population.
- Regarded as clinical expert and role model in application of the nursing process and evidence-based practice to manage the complex care needs of specific patient populations in an outpatient/clinic environment.
- Serves as a resource person to physicians, nurses, patients, and family members.
- Applies principles of adult learning to plan and conduct educational sessions to promote staff development, student competence, and positive patient/family outcomes.
- Serves as a lead in managing the patient education process within the practice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Five years experience as an RN.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the area of concentration.
- Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Completion of formal preceptor training workshop
