Gordon Feinblatt LLC is seeking an attorney to join our industry-leading Energy and Environmental Practice Group, with a particular focus on regulatory matters before the Maryland Public Service Commission.

Our Energy and Environmental team help clients navigate the often-complex planning issues and approval processes surrounding power development and renewable energy, climate change, environmental response, and urban redevelopment in Maryland and beyond. Significant client interaction will be expected, along with strong written and oral communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, and an aptitude for business generation.


The successful candidate will be barred in Maryland and have a minimum of ten years of experience practicing law, preferably with significant experience practicing before the Maryland Public Service Commission or another public utility commission or FERC. Litigation experience permitting renewable energy facilities and/or handling public utility matters, such as a rate cases, is preferred. Additional experience with environmental permitting or response work, including environmental enforcement actions and environmental due diligence, is a plus. This person will have the opportunity to serve in a first chair capacity on a wide variety of matters within the team.
