The Role:

Areyou a strategic visionary with a passion for driving growth? We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Director to spearhead our growth initiatives. This pivotal role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and implement innovative business development strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives, targeting new market opportunities and enhancing our current market reach.
  • Opportunity Identification: Analyze and identify viable short- and long-term business prospects, crafting actionable plans to convert these opportunities into substantial revenue growth.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust, long-lasting relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, enhancing our business network.
  • Client Expansion: Drive service expansion with existing clients while continuously seeking new customers, effectively communicating the company’s core strengths and unique capabilities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive dynamics, using insights to recommend new services, products, or business strategies.
  • Business Development Process: Oversee the entire business development lifecycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and winning sales strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances that support business growth and enhance our product or service offerings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Manage business development budgets, track KPIs, and report on revenue and pipeline growth while setting financial targets and monitoring progress.
  • Industry Representation: Act as the company ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, building brand awareness and fostering critical industry relationships.
  • Collaborative Marketing: Work closely with the Marketing team to create impactful product marketing materials and strategic communications.
  • Competitive Analysis: Lead research on competitive landscapes and market trends, providing insights for sales forecasting, pricing strategies, and the overall business development roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Foster strong relationships across all levels of the business to ensure alignment, efficiency, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 8+ years in business development, sales, or a related field, demonstrating a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all organizational levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, adept at managing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and execute them to achieve targets.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive individual who thrives in both collaborative and autonomous work environments.

Additional Requirements:

  • This is an in-office position located in Oceanside, CA.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, industry events, and business development opportunities.

Salary : $176k - 203k plus KPI bonus program
