We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our growing team at Nipro Medical Corporation!

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll processes, including payroll calculations, benefits management, and ensuring compliance with U.S. labor laws and regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process payroll on a (bi-weekly/monthly) basis for all U.S. based employees.
  • Calculate and verify hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely distribution of paychecks and direct deposits.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-offered benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and file required payroll tax reports and payments.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Utilize the Workday system to manage payroll data and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday payroll module.
  • Train and support staff in using the Workday system for payroll purposes.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and errors in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all employees regarding payroll and benefits matters.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Preferred experience using the Workday system for payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
