Job Requirements / Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Drive the architecture of both new and refactored system integrations to conform to supportable, scalable, and reusable best practices
  • Manage the team that implements new client, vendor, and partner integration requests, ensuring optimal throughput and quality control
  • Demonstrate a solutions-oriented approach to supporting business needs via varied integration methodologies
  • Ensure architecture and solutions are proactively built to minimize outages and delayed messages
  • Interface with and assist staff across the enterprise with requirements refinement, solution design, implementation execution, and system/partner selection
  • Communicate with both business and technology stakeholders to drive alignment and transparency
  • Build a best in class support and help desk resolution process that includes:
    • SLAs and KPIs
    • Root cause analysis, identification, and resolution
  • Continually research and evaluate emerging technologies and processes to improve our integration solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Owners on technical scoping and recommendations
  • Maintain consistent communication with leadership on status and impediments as they arise
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of SQL/MySQL/NoSQL and ETL principles is a strong plus
  • In-depth knowledge of API and EDI technologies
  • Must be a player/coach – demonstrating strong architectural and implementation skills and leadership
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, able to comprehend and relay complex stories
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years practical system integration experience and/or business-related experience
  • 5+ years of managing and growing a team responsible for enterprise integrations and/or business-related teams
  • 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
    • iPaaS/ESB solutions
    • .NET development stack
    • TMS, WMS, or other enterprise logistics platforms
    • Azure suite of resources
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience with Dell Boomi, IBM Sterling Integrator, Informatica, or Mulesoft
  • Hands-on with experience with Azure cloud offerings

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

Professional certification may be required in some areas.
