SAP ABAP Expert & BTP/Clean Core Development (Finance)

Introduction

As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Development & Delivery: Lead ABAP development using BTP and Clean Core methods to deliver complex, best-practice SAP solutions.
2. Integration & Interface Management: Design and manage complex system interfaces, ensuring smooth integration and data consistency across SAP modules and third-party tools.
3. Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate with offshore teams for timely, quality delivery and act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders for clear communication.
4. Functional & Technical Specifications: Manage and review functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
5. Onsite Development Support: Provide onsite support throughout the project lifecycle, resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Expert-level ABAP development skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
2. Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and Clean Core development strategies.
3. Hands-on experience on SAP Finance.
4. Deep understanding of SAP integration methodologies (e.g., IDoc, RFC, OData, etc.) and experience managing complex interfaces.
5. Proven experience in coordination with offshore teams and handling large-scale SAP transformation projects.
6. Strong knowledge of SAP modules and experience interacting with clients and functional teams.
7. Experience in functional specification review & approval processes.
8. Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.
9. Excellent communication skills , with experience managing client relationships and technical discussions.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori .
2. Experience working in agile or scrum-based project environments .
3. Certification in SAP ABAP, BTP is a plus.
