Job description
We are looking for an AWS Architect for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring cloud solutions implementing reusable components translating technical requirements into solutions and performing maintenance and updates
- Build automated deployments through use of configuration management tools and technologies
- Collaborating with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices
- Deploy new software and upgrades and complete fixes within the production environment
- Make modules ready for production moving them according to specific procedures and documenting knowledge transfer
- Evaluate existing applications and platforms and provide recommendations for enhancing performance via gap analysis
- Identify the most practical alternative solutions and assist with modifications
- Provide direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general production
- Create custom scripts and code using languages such as JavaScript, Java, NodeJS, Python, Bash
Minimum Requirements
Mandatory Skills required: Core AWS services - EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, Route53, VPC architecture, etc.
Automation / Infra-as-Code: CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef/Puppet/Ansible
Nice-to-have skills:
DevOps - Jenkins, GIT, CICD
Migration - Migrating enterprise workloads to AWS, Migration Tools such as CloudEndure
Others - Containers, ECS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc., Java/.Net Development experience, Cloud-native development, Cloud Assessment/Strategy
