Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, energetic, and coachable Business Development Associate to join our Enterprise Sales team in Eden Prairie, MN!

As a Business Development Associate, you will be crucial in driving our growth and expanding our market presence. This role resides within our Taylor Sales Academy, which develops and promotes early-career sales talent into open sales roles across the business.

The Taylor Sales Academy is built on three (3) main pillars:

  • Sales experience: In this role, your primary focus will be managing inbound leads. You'll work on providing value to potential clients interested in our solutions and nurturing those relationships to foster growth. Additionally, you'll be supported by a Sales Intern to help implement our team's strategies effectively.
  • Personal development: Our environment values self-education. We encourage and celebrate your efforts to listen to podcasts, read books, watch videos, and more. You'll have 30 minutes each day dedicated to personal development. During our weekly team meetings and 1-on-1s, we'll share key takeaways from our learning experiences. Additionally, you'll receive regular coaching to track your progress and identify areas for growth.
  • Building relationships internally: You will be encouraged to build relationships across the organization. Previous team members have built extensive networks of professionals they will keep with them throughout their careers.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Self-starter who can think creatively, run with new ideas, and meet/exceed standard expectations of the role
  • Willing to learn, listen to feedback, and ask questions
  • Proactive, conscientious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
