Job Description
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish quality standards and expectations.
- Formulate and maintain quality control objectives that align with corporate goals.
- Ensure compliance with quality regulations, including ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100:2016.
- Assist with ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100:2016 audits.
- Recommend and specify instrumentation, calibration, and gauging needs.
- Interpret drawings, verify production requirements, and prepare PPAP documentation.
- Collaborate with team members on purchases, procedures, product specifications, and project status.
- Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures throughout the production cycle.
- Coordinate with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and control costs.
- Utilize total quality management tools and approaches for analytical and reporting processes.
- Ensure quality of purchased parts by working closely with vendors.
- Create and manage environmental test functions.
- Participate actively in quality management teams and design training programs for key personnel.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality.
- Attend team meetings as required (e.g., safety, problem-solving).
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in quality assurance and safety.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
- Experience in PPAP preparation and conducting internal audits.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Experience in the powder coating industry.
- Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
