Position Summary: The Director of Supply Chain develops and executes strategies to support corporate growth and financial goals through the Supply Chain and Material Handling departments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate degree (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain for a manufacturing company
- Proven leadership experience in team development
- Experience in cost management and Lean principles
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Supply Chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives
- Meet leadership, inventory ratio, cost management, and supplier performance targets
- Oversee Supply Chain team performance, providing mentorship and coaching
- Create and/or approve budget for Supply Chain departments
- Execute supplier development, including quarterly reviews
- Implement annual material cost reduction plans
- Support cash flow improvement initiatives with materials, suppliers, and customers
- Maintain Supply Chain systems and ISO procedures
- Manage supplier relationships, building strong partnerships with key suppliers
- Assist in resolving supplier issues
- Develop travel plans for supply base analysis
- Communicate Supply Chain trends and strategic recommendations
- Project leadership to achieve improvement initiatives
- Collaborate effectively across the organization
- Travel will be required
