What is the UX Architect/Designer responsible for?
As part of the Global Marketing team, the UX Architect/Designer will help shape our digital experience so that it genuinely helps our clients around the globe. You will help to develop end to end journeys that will meet clients specific needs and then ensuring the execution meets our high digital experience standards.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the UX Architect/Designer?
- Work with our research team to identify the underlying “jobs to be done” of our clients.
- For our primary client journeys, map the current experience, journey, flows, and interactions to give a clear picture of our baseline state.
- Use analytics solutions (web analytics, CRM, journey tracking, client feedback surveys, etc.) to provide understanding of pain points within our current experience.
- Work with Experience Leads to define future state experience ensuring the experience aligns to our core client personas - including journey flows and client interactions.
- Create page level designs to provide a clear articulation of how the new journey should be executed, where appropriate make these available to client testing.
- Design and specify any new features to support the target experience, working with Creative Studios to apply styling from our design system.
- Partner with Experience Leads and Product Owners to identify and prioritize design & experience updates based on the Product Roadmap.
- Maintain design standards that are used across the design team and incorporated into our design system.
What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone be successful?
- Higher education qualification in UX design, human-computer interaction or related field.
- 3 years experience of digital UX design.
- A strong portfolio of design projects that show your skills and how you think about design.
- Proficient user of Figma.
- Desirable experience delivering across multiple countries.
- Experience in Financial Services or working with Financial Services clients.
Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary—designed to support the whole person and to recognize their time, talents, and results. Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We expect the salary for this position to range between $116,000 - $136,000.
