Title: Jr UI Developer

Location : 100% remote but local to NYC to go onsite on an as-needed basis

Duration : 6+ months Contract-to-hire

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality user interfaces for both new and existing web applications using Angular and React.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UX/UI designs while maintaining high standards of usability and accessibility.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across a broad spectrum of devices.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers in best practices, code quality, and software development processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of application quality and performance.
  • Work closely with backend developers and product managers to create seamless, integrated experiences
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and frameworks, particularly those related to Angular and React.


Job requirements and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Angular.
  • Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3, SASS.
  • Proficiency in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, familiar with Angular 17+, Typescript, ES6+, NodeJs, Webpack, Git. VS code – IDE, React. GITHub link of personal projects
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience of building component lib is a plus.
  • Experience in the finance sector is highly desirable but not required.
