Our client is looking for a highly motivated hands-on leader to elevate their team and organization as they expand their manufacturing operations. They are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead their HR department and empower employees to reach their full potential.


Position Overview:

The Director of Human Resources will be vital in driving the organization’s success by managing all aspects of human resources. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of HR will develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role will lead a team of 1 direct report and will oversee all safety and compliance within the plant.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support company objectives and enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.

• Lead the HR team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee talent acquisition processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.

• Collaborate with department managers to identify and address training and development needs.

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

• Manage employee relations issues with fairness and consistency.

• Partner with plant managers to address staffing and workforce planning needs.

• Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of programs and identify improvement areas.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in manufacturing.

• Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
