Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Operate and maintain all machines necessary to produce weld metal test specimens in accordance with the tolerances of AWS, ASTM and Military specifications. Verify tolerance of specimens and record data.
Work with supervisors and other personnel to set priorities in the machine shop, radiography and physical testing to assure the proper flow of work through the laboratory placing urgency on test completion.
Prepare test assemblies for radiography and perform all the necessary steps to obtain an acceptable quality radiographic film.

Complete training and testing required for Level II competency in RT, MT, and VT
Perform all required tests in the physical testing laboratory. Calculate and record test results, paying close attention to accuracy and determine if they meet the established test requirements.
Perform other various duties throughout the laboratory as needed including in house calibration of gages and recording of as found as left data.
Other projects as directed by the Test Lab Supervisor.
Adhere to all safe work practices and/or safety policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5-8 years of job-related experience.
Experience with CNC set-up and operation.
Experience in equipment maintenance and good mechanical aptitude a plus.
Computer usage required.
Self motivated and willing to take on other responsibilities throughout the lab.
Requires ability to work accurately with a high importance to detail.
Work well with others in a team atmosphere.
Pay Range:
$65,533.00-$76,194.00
