Position Overview: Monster Energy is seeking an experienced privacy attorney to join its Legal Department. In this exciting and highly visible role, you will provide subject matter expertise and counseling on a broad range of privacy related requirements and restrictions worldwide, as well as cybersecurity best practices. You will advise multiple internal client groups and support various privacy initiatives, with a focus both on U.S. and global data privacy compliance.
Experience: Five+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably at a law firm, in-house or regulatory agency focused on issues related to privacy, data protection, and information management. Juris doctor degree required.
Location: Corona, CA with a hybrid work schedule of at least 3 days per week on site in the office.
Relocation: Open to relocation candidates.
Compensation: Base salary targeted at $180k plus up to 20% bonus
Bar: Candidate must be a member of the California State Bar or otherwise qualified to practice law in California as registered in-house counsel.
