We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Techno-Functional Analyst with expertise in data analysis, SQL, and a strong background in Accounting Platforms to support T-Mobile’s Revenue & Lease Platforms. The ideal candidate will be a proficient communicator, responsible for bridging the gap between technology and business, ensuring seamless collaboration with business partners, and translating complex business requirements into functional solutions. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of data structures, SQL databases, and accounting processes to enhance the efficiency and functionality of our accounting platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Management:
    • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial data.
    • Develop and implement strategies for effective data cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  2. SQL Expertise:
    • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data.
    • Optimize database performance and design by creating efficient data models and structures.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related issues in collaboration with the technical team.
  3. Accounting Platform Enhancement:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
    • Implement and enhance features within the accounting platform to align with evolving business needs.
    • Strong experience with ASC606 / IFRS 15 & ASC842 / IFRS 16.
  4. Business Requirements Gathering:
    • Conduct comprehensive business requirement sessions with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
    • Document and communicate business requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes through technological solutions.
  5. Collaboration with Business Partners:
    • Foster strong relationships with business partners to understand their goals and challenges.
    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical development team.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration to drive successful project outcomes.
  6. Technological Proficiency:
    • Experience in utilizing PowerBI for creating insightful and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
    • Familiarity with revenue management products such as Aptitude, Oracle Revenue Management, or Zuora.
    • Ability to integrate and leverage these technologies to enhance financial reporting and revenue management processes.
