Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist will report to the AVP of Human Resources and support various functions within the Human Resources Department, including recruitment, HRIS, Education and Benefits. The primary work of the position will include the processing of the Defined Benefit Pension Plan, maintaining licensure and certifications, assisting with onboarding of new hires, and when needed to assist the Benefits area.

Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Baccalaureate Degree in Human Resources or similar area of concentration
Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Minimum of two years experience in an HR role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in high-volume/fast paced department.
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish is preferred.
