Power Markets Analyst:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Analyst to join the Power Marketing & Trading team and play a crucial role in the growth of the trading business.
As an Analyst in the Energy Marketing & Trading team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategies related to the buying, selling, and trading of energy commodities. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing market data, assessing risk, and helping to optimize trading strategies. Your work will directly impact our organization's bottom line and contribute to our success in a rapidly evolving energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze market data, trends, and relevant information to support trading decisions.
· Collaborate with traders and risk managers to develop and refine trading strategies.
· Monitor and report on energy market conditions and developments.
· Assist in managing risk through the use of financial instruments and hedging strategies.
· Go over day ahead and short term analysis
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of energy markets experience in a trading or analytical role
· Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen interest in the energy market.
· Knowledge of energy market fundamentals and trading concepts.
· Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of relevant software tools and platforms used in energy trading is an advantage.
