This person will be responsible for performing all functions necessary to produce precast concrete products efficiently and safely under supervision. - Proven experience as a crane operator, demonstrating strong knowledge of crane operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception to accurately position loads and maneuver the crane.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to identify and address any equipment malfunctions or issues.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, lifting plans, and signal communication to execute precise lifting operations.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions.
- Assess load weights and determine load capacities to ensure safe lifting operations, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members, including signalpersons, riggers, and supervisors, to ensure coordinated and safe lifting operations.
- Safely and efficiently operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects, equipment, and materials according to project requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the proper function of crane controls, ensuring they are responsive and functioning correctly during operations.
- Keep accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Monday-Friday (Mandatory OT on some Saturdays based on business needs)
- 10-to-12-hour shifts
- (Holidays are off)
