We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.
Your FAST internship will have a meaningful and lasting social impact. FAST offers a collaborative in-office problem-solving environment.
As a Human Resources Intern , you will assist FAST's Human Resources team with processes pertaining to recruiting, onboarding, company wellness initiatives and other Human Resources-related tasks. This position will be based at our headquarters in Centennial, CO and ideally will be part-time during Spring 2025.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires. Responsibilities related to this task may include uploading new hire information into internal systems, conducting background checks, completing I-9s and E-Verify, etc.
  • Ensure overall compliance with applicable local and state laws.
  • Complete responsibilities related to data entry, which may include updating employee records.
  • Work effectively in multiple HRIS systems including ADP, iCIMS, and FAST's proprietary system.
  • Conduct salary research for FAST job postings and prepare offers accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the team and give suggestions for new promotional items.
  • Willingness to complete other HR tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should be currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field of study.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Have a high level of energy, be creative and enthusiastic, and possess a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong work ethic.
  • Enjoys a challenging, fast-paced, and professional environment and is willing to take on a variety of projects.
  • Willing to work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week in-person for no less than 12 continuous weeks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
