Specialist, Compliance Operations

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Specialist, Compliance Operations is responsible for being a key contributor to the US Commercial Compliance Operations program for over 9000 US Commercial learners. This role will perform assessments in partnership with the Compliance Training and AbbVie Learning Center (ALC) Operations teams and is responsible for identifying ways to improve/streamline the execution of processes to increase performance and agility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for driving the effectiveness of the Compliance Training & Learning Management Operations team through:

  • Developing assessments to determine compliance to processes and regulations to identify potential gaps and mitigate and implement improvements within our program.
  • With direct team, builds the assignment of product and non-product assessments/assignments across the commercial organization in ALC.
  • Partner with various teams and other internal customers in preparation for launch of new online activities.
  • Work as the SME on reporting systems, handling a high volume of training data. Provide quality, speed, and accuracy of information to meet reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for the testing and distribution of communications to US Commercial learners regarding ALC assignments.
  • Accountable for completion of learning activity data analytics, escalation reports, and trend reporting.
  • Leads operational activities, including monitoring the mailbox and responses, help desk tickets, training assignments, and profile creation requests.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience in pharma compliance or pharma operations.
  • 2 years of experience with Learning Management Systems including knowledge of these systems and reporting capabilities
    • Ability to work productively within a team environment and perform duties independently or with a low level of supervision.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as job responsibilities include communicating with various stakeholders within AbbVie.
    • Experience working in both a team setting and independently. Works well with manager guidance to complete tactical objectives while able to manage own time effectively.
  • Experience in data analysis, including strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and with writing Macros.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience, LMS, Qlik Sense and compliance experience is a plus.
