Job Description:

As a Project Manager, you will use a combination of outstanding leadership, thought clarity, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on various projects. We are looking for a self-starter and a team player who can lead various business process scenarios but can still work closely with cross-functional teams to effectively prioritize and deploy projects and programs to a desired outcome.

Specific requirements:

  • Experience in AWS Cloud and other cloud platforms
  • Experience in Assessing SaaS products for the requirements
  • Experience in Concept planning, submission, Business cases
  • Experience in Financial estimations, Sharepoint, SAP.
  • Strong experience in Portfolios and budget management
  • Strong experience in Project Planning and task management
  • Able to automate the existing processes which involves manual effort
  • Very well versed with MS Excel
  • Responsible for on-time, in-scope and in-budget delivery of identified projects and leading a project team
  • Good to have experience in Utility domain
  • Help in managing programs / portfolio
  • Focus on Creating and reviewing Concepts, Approaches & Business cases
  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects including scope, schedule, resources
  • Working with PM to ensure all concepts and Business case are reviewed, submitted as plan
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Provide clear reporting of project status including timelines, milestone tracking, budget status, risk & issue identification, and resource management.
  • Communicate project status to key stakeholders and management
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Present to stakeholders reports on project progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Manage project documentation deliverables throughout the life cycle.
  • Ensure Change Management is not an after thought on all projects, but a part and parcel of the overall delivery.

Skills & Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years Technical Project management experience (waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies)
  • 3+ years of Program & Portfolio Management experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict/resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details and ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Preference of working under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively
  • Great meeting facilitation skills and effective team player.
  • Mastery level understanding software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Previous experience with project management tools like MS Project or similar.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with office software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
  • Customer-focused mindset with Coaching mentality and willingness to learn
  • A PMP, Prince2 or CSM will be an added advantage.
  • Strong experience with vendor management.
