Position Summary

The Procure to Pay team conceives, configures, monitors, defines, tests, delivers, monitors, optimizes, and refines Procure to Pay products and application technologies, including but not limited to mobile and web applications, collaboration tools, CRM products, budget/financial management products, HR applications, and other services. This department also works to optimize user experience, address digital accessibility needs, and establish the highest standards of quality assurance and release management for UCLA's administrative applications and technologies.

The Manager, Procure to Pay Products will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Procure to Pay products and services that support the university's strategic objectives and meet the evolving needs of UCLA's students, faculty, and staff. The Manager will partner on strategizing the sunsetting and archiving the Legacy Procure to Pay system. This leader will lead the prioritization of delivery plans, overseeing the development of acceptance criteria as it relates to organizational goals, and facilitating continuous improvement to support growth and operational effectiveness. The Manager, Procure to Pay will partner with the cross-functional delivery teams to ensure products meet business and user requirements, and with business stakeholders to iterate on and improve the products over time. This role will execute UCLA's vision while modeling UCLA's culture and values.

Qualifications

  • 5 Years Working within the following fields: information technology, computer science, management, higher education, or a related field. (Required)
  • 2 Years Experience leading teams in a management or leadership role, particularly in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. (Required)
  • Significant experience managing Procure to Pay in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex technical information to audiences of technical and non-technical stakeholders. (Required)
  • Significant experience working in a project-based environment using leading project management practices. (Required)
  • Extensive experience solving technical and non-technical problems; able to delegate solutioning when appropriate to the proper resources. (Required)
  • Experience operating as a point of escalation. (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience providing inclusive leadership of others, cultivating an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. (Required)
  • Has demonstrated experience leading in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. (Required)
  • Experience in complex higher education environments, serving academic and administrative functions of a large public university. (Preferred)
  • 7 Years Working within the following fields: information technology, computer science, management, higher education, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • 5 Years Experience leading teams in a management or leadership role, particularly in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. (Preferred)
  • Understanding of how programs relate to other business strategies and initiatives. (Required)
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate work assignments to medium-sized teams. (Required)
  • Advanced project management skills with demonstrated experience delegating responsibility, tracking project progress, supervising others, and advising teams on competing priorities. (Required)
  • Able to lead data gathering efforts seeking information from multiple and diverse sources. (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

  • Bachelor's Degree Information technology, computer science, public administration, business administration, communications, or related field or equivalent experience. (Required)

Special Conditions for Employment

  • This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that includes regular visits to campus as needed (for those who work remotely, travel/lodging expenses are not eligible for reimbursement).
  • The anticipated pay range for this position is $139,099-$160,127, annually; salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the selected finalist.
