We are hiring for a Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Team.As a Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the organization adheres to industry regulations and standards. The hiring manager emphasizes a team-oriented approach, encourages frequent collaboration with the compliance team and offers opportunities to contribute to strategic compliance initiatives across the organization.What You will Be Doing:Monitors newly enacted legislation, regulations, and sub-regulatory guidance to determine impact on Evolent and delegated entitiesMaintains systems, trackers, and databases housing compliance materials including policies and procedures, legislation, regulatory and sub-regulatory guidance, etc., and provides training to users as neededDevelops, reviews, and edits materials such as policies and procedures, compliance newsletters, regulatory summaries, and related workflowsDrives the monitoring, documentation, and updating of compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in legislationServes as the primary approver for Evolent operational policies and procedures with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company standards and legal requirementsAssists the Compliance team with internal operational policy auditsSupports consistent use of tools and makes suggestions to implement improvements to support Compliance goalsConducts regulatory research for senior members of the Compliance teamSupports and coordinates day-to-day compliance activities and projectsOpportunity to shape and expand the role according to your vision, with freedom to make it uniquely your own and drive its evolutionQualifications – Required and Preferred:Bachelor’s Degree (Required)2+ years of professional experience in compliance of health insurance (Required)Excellent written and oral communication (Preferred)Demonstrates consistent attention to detail and maintain high-quality standards in deliverables (Preferred)Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous projects without supervision (Preferred)Ability to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) and collaborate with all levels of workforce, regulatory officials, and clients (Preferred)Ability to develop and implement creative approaches to address compliance, solve problems and resolve conflicts with excellent attention to detail (Preferred)Comfortable working in an extremely dynamic environment (Preferred)Strong sense of ethics (Preferred)Technical Requirements:We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees.
