We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team.POSITION DESCRIPTIONEngineers are responsible for all activities that are carried out to successfully complete an assigned project. Activities may include interaction with customer and development of SOW, design work, schedule management, manufacturing process development, and manufacturing support. If you're an engineer with a strong work ethic, technical knowledge and enthusiasm for growth, this is the role for you.The following essential job functions are performed:Maintains an overview of production processes and facilities and work with Management and Production personnel to develop and implement improvements for optimal resultsAssists with creating and managing new production processes/procedures to better aid in the completion of composite tooling and/or resolve any problems that may have occurred during the production of the toolAs Research and Design develops new technology, the ME reissues and/or reconstructs production processes in order to implement new technologyPlans and coordinates standard manufacturing processes on the Production FloorAides with recording test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data and recommendations for changes in product or test methodWorks with Project Managers to identify and mitigate risk in the production processMust be able to comply with Safety, 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap Standards and PracticesDevelops detailed Production Build Plan packages based upon customer process specifications and engineering drawingsConfers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or partsFiles, retrieves and maintains engineering drawings, records, revisions and updates, as neededDrafts detail drawings or sketches to convey technical informationMaintains awareness of the project schedule for each project as it moves through the value stream in order to meet key project deadlinesAnalyzes and plans work force utilization, equipment and workspace requirements for maximum efficiency.Performs other duties as assignedBehavior: The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisorsBeing at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of your jobQUALIFICATIONSU.S. PERSON STATUS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.Proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required due to access to sensitive data and our coverage under EAR and ITAR regulations.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEA Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering/Engineering Technology, Industrial Design Technology, or a similar field is required.3-5 years of related experience is required.Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products; some experience with Catia, NX Unigraphics, and SAP is desirableMust have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English languageMust be familiar with a variety of the fields' concepts, practices and proceduresMust be able to rely on extensive experience, problem-solving skills and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.ADDI
