We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience in image processing and digital imaging.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience in camera engineering with Science, Technology, Math, and Engineering (STEM) or practical skills related to camera products such as: Computational imaging, camera ISP, software imaging pipelines, imaging simulation, camera hardware test+validation, AI image processing, computer vision, camera applications.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience in camera analysis, imaging pipelines, requirements investigation for shipping camera products.
- Experience in Python, C++ or Java.
- Knowledge of camera sensors, optics, and the imaging stack in mobile/AR imaging pipelines.

Responsibilities
- Work as a member of a software Research and Development team developing cameras on next-generation Augmented Reality (AR) devices.
- Develop, analyze, and evaluate imaging pipelines on real devices and help to establish KPIs for the product.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop imaging algorithms for specific use cases.
- Evaluate and help shape next-generation product features, specifications, system architecture.
- Provide software engineering and imaging analysis related to direction, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and photography for AR, Virtual Reality (VR) devices to ensure quality of experiences using cameras.
