Job Title: Senior Data Integration Specialist - Workplace Ops & Supply Chain (Contract)
Work Location: Manhattan, NYC
Terms: 6 mo. Contract w/ likely extensions
You will be responsible for acquiring and analyzing data from various third-party sources. You will utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, APIs and Data Science to extract, analyze, integrate and transform data for data management and data analytics purposes. As a Data Integration Specialist, you will establish and manage data exchanges and integrations between various third-party platforms.
Job Duties:

  • Gather and analyze data from multiple third-party sources using various methods and tools
  • Solid understanding and experience working with third party API design principles, including versioning, authentication, authorization, and documentation
  • Develop and maintain Jupyter notebooks in data science platform for data integrations across different systems and perform exploration, analysis, and visualization
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex API-related issues
  • Strong knowledge of development best practices, including version control, testing frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to support their data needs and ensure smooth data operations
  • Document earmarked API integration work into a resource library for ongoing support
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in API development, Python and SQL
  • Experience with data lake and data warehouse concepts and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
Strongly Preferred:
  • Ability to remain flexible with changing priorities and thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge in ETL frameworks
  • Experience in Stakeholder management
  • Have excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Experience working within an Agile framework
