Join the Retirement Solution Center as a Retirement Solutions Representative, where you will provide exceptional service to our members, partners, plan sponsors, and investment professionals. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members regarding retirement plans, account maintenance, and system navigation.
- Understand and interpret various product suites, including current offerings and those no longer sold that require servicing.
- Maintain detailed records of conversations to enhance member relationships.
- Ensure compliance with FINRA regulations, Nationwide policies, and state/local laws.
- Educate customers on tax implications, penalties, benefits, and other plan-related inquiries.
- Analyze issues to determine appropriate actions and collaborate with internal partners to resolve escalated issues.
- Participate in monthly meetings with leadership to develop a career path strategy and set goals for success.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in customer service or sales-related occupations.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of insurance products and sales processes.
- Understanding of state and local laws regarding product features.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer and common office software.
- Ability to utilize technology to enhance customer interactions.
Licenses/Certifications:
Candidates must be able to pass a credit check. Upon hire, Nationwide will provide 120 days to complete and pass the SIE and Series 6 licenses, with costs covered by the company. FINRA Series 6 and/or 26 licenses are preferred.
Availability:
Candidates must have open availability Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 11 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Work schedules will be randomly assigned after training, and we cannot consider candidates with schedule conflicts.
