Overview
The Agile Coach is an individual contributor position responsible for educating, coaching, and supporting teams in adopting agile principles and practices in support of the organization's digital acceleration efforts. Agile Coaches play a critical role in fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and adaptability to enhance SGWS’s ability to deliver value to our customers and impact to our business.
As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible for ensuring Agile Frameworks are understood and enacted. You will help employees and stakeholders understand and enact empirical product development. You are a facilitator, trainer, coach, and mentor for the team, organization, and enterprise. You seek to continuously improve your own skills, the effectiveness of your team, and the organization’s understanding of Agile. You measure progress using learning milestones. You support the five elements of a learning organization: personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning, and systems thinking. You adhere to the five Scrum values: focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
You will implement a descaled product structure, supported by Agile ways of working, across a product portfolio or customer journey. You work across departmental boundaries with people at all levels of the organization to implement the cultural and organizational changes necessary to accelerate our digital transformation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Educate and coach teams and partners to adopt agile ways of working.
- Develop agile coaching strategy, outline approach for scaling adoption.
- Provide guidance and training to product teams on Agile Frameworks.
- Design new methods for enhancing organizational agility.
- Assess agile maturity levels of teams and individuals to identify and address gaps.
- Monitor and address potential blockers to agile adoption and effectiveness.
- Align initiatives with organizational goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred.
- 10+ years of related work experience.
- Proven track record of coaching Agile teams and successfully applying Agile practices in complex organizational settings.
- Agile and Beverage Alcohol experience certifications preferred.
- Skills in Agile Frameworks, Organizational Change Leadership, Product Development, Product Marketing, Finance, Architecture, and DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile Certification(s).
- Beverage Alcohol Industry Experience.
- Graduate Degree.
