Cyber Security Consultant - ISO20071, SOC, NIST, PAM - Perm, London
An international private equity firm is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to help manage, advise, and develop networks of portfolio companies. This role involves the usual governance of network systems along with building core relationships with senior leaders. You will be required to conduct regular CISO/CTO roundtables.
The role will also require you to provide your expert advice on how to improve and develop existing SOCs, ensuring optimum efficiency. You will be reporting directly to the C-Suite on daily activities.

Role:
- Working closely with IT and security teams of portfolio companies
- Conducting regular assessments and providing detailed solutions/recommendations
- Involved in ad hoc remediation projects - monitoring, addressing, and reporting vulnerabilities
- Evaluating the posture of potential investment opportunities
- Leading regular CISO/CTO roundtables across various companies, facilitating the exchange of information and cybersecurity practices
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong background in NIST framework and policies relating to SOC2, ISO20071
- Experience with conducting assessments and due diligence on companies
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, PAM, PEN testing, and other industry standards
- Excellent communication skills - need to be able to confidently engage and thoroughly explain processes/procedures and technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to acclimatize and build rapport with teams across several different sectors and backgrounds
