As part of the Wachter team, Hybrid Technology Engineer executes both pre-sales and post-sales engineering services. At times this position will be involved from the first sales engagement to the final project closeout / post-closeout service. Strong time management skills to support concurrent design and execution efforts is crucial.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining proficiency in multiple verticals (Video, Access, Wireless, AV systems)
Driving the technical design and assisting in the sales agenda
Assuring prospects and customers that they have the right technical solution to meet their needs
Documenting the pre-sales system design and system intent
Defining and executing project Implementation tasks
Providing Post-Installation support, triage, and troubleshooting
An incumbent in this position will be called on to assist with designing and planning of technical solutions. A robust understanding of best practices for TCP/IP networking, low voltage systems, wireless systems and overall design factors to achieve client business and technical objectives is required.
You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to create, influence, and achieve the customer vision by both defining the solution and completing the tasks to meet customer expectations.
