We are in need of a Business Process Consultant to assist with the Business Operations discovery and documentation. This individual should possess a blend of analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills.
Why the need: We want to document the current business operations for Client Group in readiness for SAP S/4 implementation. The project is expected to last four months.
Required Key Skills
- Process Mapping and Modeling:
- Proficiency in tools like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), and process mapping software (e.g., Visio).
- Ability to create clear and effective process diagrams that visualize workflows.
- Knowledge of process discovery tool - SIPOC (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, and Customer)
Facilitation and Presentation Skills:
- Strong facilitation skills to guide discussions and workshops effectively.
- Ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Technical Proficiency:
- Understanding of IT systems and how they support business processes
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities to assess current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
Business Process Knowledge:
- Understanding of various business processes across different functions (e.g., finance, supply chain, customer service).
- Experience in process mapping and modeling, using methodologies such as BPMN.
Change Management:
- Understanding of change management principles to effectively implement process changes.
- Ability to develop communication plans and training materials to support users during transitions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams.
- Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and building consensus.
Project Management:
- Familiarity with project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor workshop activities.
- Ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
Continuous Improvement Mindset:
- Commitment to continuous improvement practices and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to encourage a culture of ongoing process evaluation and enhancement.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Strong documentation skills to create comprehensive reports summarizing workshop findings and recommendations.
- Proficiency in creating actionable roadmaps based on process mining insights.
