Job Responsibilities

1. Exceptional capability to assess and apply new technologies in a short timeframe.
2. Design and operation of robust distributed systems.
3. Significant experience with Python / Scripting / Java preferred in that order.
4. Strong knowledge of relational databases and query authoring (SQL).
5. Some experience with NoSQL data processing.
6. Experience with development using open source technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark.
7. Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
8. Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
9. Team player: readily willing to collaborate and assist within and outside of group.
