JOB PROFILE : Senior Manager, Human Resources

JOB LOCATION: Carrollton, TX

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR Operations Management
  1. Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR compliance for the US locations.
  2. Ensure the seamless execution of payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management across all US locations.
  3. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations as needed.

Strategic HR Leadership:
  1. Collaborate with the Global Head of Human Resources to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
  2. Drive organizational change initiatives and employee engagement within the US.
  3. Lead initiatives to enhance organizational culture, retention, and development opportunities.
  4. Lead, manage, and develop direct reports.

Multi-State HR Management:
  1. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations across multiple locations.
  2. Implement policies and procedures tailored to meet the specific needs of different state requirements while maintaining consistency in HR practices.
  3. Act as a key HR partner for site managers, providing guidance and support on HR issues specific to their state or location.

Talent Acquisition and Management:
  1. Assist the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for key roles in all US locations.
  2. Work with the Senior Learning and Development Manager on employee development programs, including leadership development, training, and succession planning to ensure continuous development of the workforce.

Visa and Immigration Management:
  1. Manage the company’s visa processes, including H-1B, L-1, and other work permits for foreign employees.
  2. Oversee the coordination and filing of visa applications, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and timely renewals.
  3. Act as a liaison with legal counsel and external immigration partners to ensure proper handling of all visa-related matters.
  4. Guide employees on visa processes, timelines, and documentation requirements.

HR Metrics, Payroll and Reporting:
  1. Manage the process of analyzing HR data and metrics to provide insights into workforce trends, including turnover, absenteeism, and retention.
  2. Oversight of Payroll for all US locations. Serving as backup if Payroll Manager is out.
  3. Generate reports and provide recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Compliance & Risk Management:
  1. Ensure all HR policies and procedures are in line with labor laws, employment standards, and company policies.
  2. Handle audits, ensure accurate reporting for compliance, and mitigate risks related to employment practices.

Other:
  1. Works closely with the International HR team to align the company’s goals.
  2. Perform other job-related duties as necessary.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  2. Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant work experience in human resources.
  3. Extensive experience managing employee relations cases.
  4. Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers.
  5. Multi‐state compliance and HR law knowledge.
  6. Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
  7. Experience with immigration and employment visas for international employees.
  8. Experience coaching and mentoring at the management level.
  9. Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention, and reward programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has supervisory responsibilities. People management: They act as people managers by partnering within the organization to attract the right professional services, leadership, and talent to ensure their team is staffed according to requirements and all team members are fully utilized. They ensure that employees reporting to them are engaged and understand their career opportunities by taking responsibility for the development and training of their team members.
