About the Role


The Integration Engineer (IE) is an key role on the engineering team. You will be directly responsible for B2B connectivity both for internal Rygen stakeholders as well as external customers. Using Rygen's AI-Enhanced X1 integration platform, you will create trading partners, integrations, data flow pipelines and exception management flows.


Responsibilities


  • Analyze and document integration requirements
  • Analyze and document translation requirements
  • Setup complex integration between trading partners
  • Perform current and future state analysis for integrations
  • Write translation scripts using Groovy to translate messages from source to target formats
  • Troubleshoot integration failures
  • Communicate with team members, stakeholders, customers and PMO team about current state
  • Learn and contribute to the development of the X1 iPaaS


Qualifications


  • Familiarity with standard data formats like XML, JSON, etc...
  • Proficiency with web services - REST, SOAP, etc...
  • Familiarity with messaging systems - RabbitMQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc...
  • Proficiency in a mainstream OOP language - we use Groovy
  • Ability to work closely with others to accomplish shared mission
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism and provide feedback
  • Ability to maintain professional and friendly working relationships 


Nice-to-haves


  • Degree in Computer Science related field of study or work experience
  • Familiarity with software project management tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud / AWS
  • Ability to create and read technical documents
  • Familiarity with ANSI X12 EDI
