Maintenance Manager - Automated Painting

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of several automated paint lines and other production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management within a plastics parts manufacturing environment, with a focus on automated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation of all automated paint lines and production equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated paint lines and other machinery.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred. Experience may be considered in lieuy of education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a Tier 1 automotive or plastics manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with automated paint lines and other automated systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
