The Opportunity
Econometrica is looking for a junior to mid-level Economist/Economic Analyst with 1–5 years of experience conducting economic or regulatory impact analyses, benefit–cost analyses, or program evaluations, preferably for public-sector clients. The analyst will support our work for the U.S. Departments of Transportation, Interior, Homeland Security, Health & Human Services, Commerce, and Agriculture.
Education & Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent writing skills.
- Statistical and quantitative analysis skills.
- Experience conducting regulatory analyses, benefit–cost analyses, or program evaluations.
- Experience conducting energy or transportation related analyses is a plus.
- Experience with GIS is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus.
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Master’s degree is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is remote, although local candidates may choose to work in Econometrica’s office. The office is located in beautiful downtown Bethesda, MD. We are located at a Metro stop within walking distance of great restaurants and local fare. We have a typical office setting with a quiet-to-moderate noise level.
