Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
• Oversee multi-currency intercompany AR/AP transactions and account reconciliations.
• Contribute to month-end close processes and quarterly account reconciliations.
• Manage, or assist with, Fixed Assets management, Multi-State Sales and Use Tax, and shareholder communications.
• Handle vendor and customer portal management, service contract proofreading, and Certificates of Insurance.
• Support cost accounting functions.
• Research, report, and ensure compliance with sales, use, and property tax regulations.
• Provide solutions to accounting challenges, contribute to special projects, and assist in audits.
• Assist with cash flow forecasts, foreign exchange transactions, and budget preparation.
• Lead or support new system implementations.
• Manage or assist with business licenses, employee expense reports, and collections administration.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into ERP systems, including conducting relevant research.
• Collaborate on internal and external audit preparation, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Provide administrative support when needed, including working weekends during month-end and year-end close periods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with proficiency in the rest of the Microsoft suite and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
