Field Marketing Manager (FMM)- Communication - Media - Information Services, Hitech, and Technology
We are looking for a candidate with strong field marketing experience with an outcome-based orientation to work within our Communication - Media - Information Services, Hitech, and Technology business units. The candidate needs to have a proven, integrated approach to marketing and outstanding people skills.
In this role, you will work closely with the NA sales leadership in these groups, to conceptualize and implement a Go-To-Market strategy.
The FMM would be responsible for designing the overall marketing strategy and building integrated marketing campaigns and event programs that are tracked and measured for effectiveness and ROI. Working with many internal stakeholders, the FMM will also be responsible for enhancing market perception, generating marketing and sales qualified leads.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure Marketing is Strategically Aligned with Business Unit Leadership. Specifically:
o Marketing programs and sales strategy
o Develop and execute ongoing lead generation programs, leveraging both classic and current marketing means when applicable
o Understanding targeted prospects and 'warm' sales opportunities that marketing can impact
o Implementing high-impact initiatives that will enable the sales team to be more effective (ex. Sales enablement: market research, analytics on campaigns)
o Create a nurturing strategy for leads that are between marketing and sales qualified phases
o Working closely with Head of North America Marketing and Communications to ensure visibility and effectiveness of the marketing strategy
• Team and Interpersonal Skills
o Building strong relationships with other key stakeholders such as business unit leadership, product teams, pre-sales, sales, and global marketing peers, to name a few
o Standardize and digitize processes across the marketing and sales functions whenever possible
o Contribute to a high-functioning, collaborative sales and marketing relationship within your business units
• Integrated Marketing Approach
o Integration should include activities such as brand awareness, thought leadership, online marketing, industry events, Client hosted CXO programs, PR, analyst relations and social media
o Work closely with other Client business units to participate/contribute to your marketing strategy and plan(s)
• Plan, Monitor and Measure Marketing Programs & Campaigns
o Manage the process and overall approved budget for your business
o Monitor, measure and report on program and campaign effectiveness on a regular basis
Required Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in technology or product/services marketing.
• Field marketing experience. Must be able to demonstrate an ability to conceptualize and execute programs that have yielded ROI
• Proven success with integrated B2B marketing campaigns, including goal setting, budget management and results measurement
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills. This role has many internal stakeholders
• The successful candidate must be comfortable handling complexity in a globally diverse environment
• Excellent written and verbal skills a must
• Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or business. MBA is a plus
