Improve and manage the daily operation by leading, coaching, and developing your direct reports for efficiency, profitability, and production of high-quality premium products that meet or exceed customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement KPIs, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and create repeatable, sustainable results.
Meet or exceed production, revenue, and profit goals with best practices in production planning, plant health, and consistent growing processes ensuring the finished plants are available as forecasted, as needed, and to quality specifications with minimal waste.
Enhance quality control by analyzing crops to help your growers consistently achieve healthy, high-quality plants with appropriate fertilizer, irrigation, and pest control.
Ensure growers maintain optimal growing conditions including temperature, humidity, and light.
Coach and mentor the production team to increase efficiency and to have an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, healthy finished plants with zero waste.
Prepare accurate forecasts, schedules, and meaningful reports with explanations and suggested corrective actions along with suggested improvements for the facility and growing operation.
Improve communication and collaboration with internal departments.
Create a well-maintained, safe environment that complies with corporate safety practices and industry standards.
Provide leadership that improves skills with hands-on, in-the-field guidance while fostering a culture of accountability, strong communication, and continuous improvement.
Manage budgets and resources including labor, equipment, and seasonality.
Demonstrate and communicate professionalism, technical expertise, best practices, accountability, results, profitability, corporate goals, and the value of a workforce.
Requirements
At least five (5) years of experience managing a Horticulture facility or operation with a track record of leading to produce and deliver high-quality, premium finished plants while achieving production and profitability goals.
