**Job Title:** Diagnostic Imaging - Cardiovascular Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Technologist
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 10-hour days, 0700-1730 with on-call requirements
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in the specialty required; must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
**License:** New Mexico state licensing required in one of the following: RN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Imaging, or Radiation Therapy
**Certifications:** CCI Registry, RTR, RCIS, RCES, BLS, and ACLS certifications required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
**Must-Have:**
- Advanced knowledge of imaging equipment
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab
- Ability to work cohesively with other team members
- EPIC EMR experience preferred but not mandatory
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment
**Job Description:**
- Work in a cardiac catheterization lab, demonstrating necessary technical skills
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Be flexible with fluctuating shifts to meet department staffing needs
- Cover on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Float within the assigned facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius
- Complete mandatory orientation, including EPIC training, which does not exceed 40 hours
Travelers are advised of the following conditions:
- Must not have been employed by the specified healthcare system for at least 12 months from the last day worked to be eligible for the position
- Must ensure that an accurate social security number and date of birth are entered during the application process
- State tax is handled separately and must be paid accordingly
Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules or shifts. Scrubs required for the position will be provided by the facility. Holiday coverage is required for this position.
