About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Defense Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our team in Atlanta. This position involves working closely with two partners and an associate on complex medical malpractice defense cases. We are committed to finding the right fit to replace a valued employee. The salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $85,000, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Records Summary: Organize and summarize medical records for case analysis.
• Medical Timelines: Create detailed timelines of medical events pertinent to each case.
• Deposition Summaries: Prepare concise and accurate summaries of depositions.
• Expert Search: Identify and liaise with medical experts to support case arguments.
• Discovery: Manage and coordinate the discovery process, including document review and production.
• Additional Duties: Assist with various other tasks as needed to support the legal team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in defense medical malpractice is required. We are not considering candidates with plaintiff experience.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.
• Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
