Senior Revenue Accountant

NextStep Recruiting has joined hands with an authentic client located in South Irving as they are seeking a dynamic Senior Revenue Accountant to join the accounting team! This is a fantastic leadership group and an excellent time to get your foot in the door with a company growing exponentially.
Essential duties will be, but are not limited to:

• Exploring all revenue recognition opportunities, cross-department analysis that impacts revenue for profitability
• Provide extensive financial statements and financial reporting
• Ability to identify gaps in their revenue recognition reporting, root cause of issues, ability to visualize trends and create reports around this for raw data and projections
• Strengths in optimizing the financial process to help enhance their auditing capabilities
• Heavy data analysis, pricing, and modeling

Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting is required, CPA or CPA Candidate is strongly encouraged
• 4-6 years experience in finance and revenue accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and comprehensive understanding of general accounting, general ledger, and accounts payables.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities and/or situations
• High intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Dynamic (Great Plains)
