Software Engineer (Java) - Direct Hire!! Hybrid in ATL, GA

Optomi in partnership with a leader in the digital commerce industry. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications that drive our cloud-based solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build scalable and robust systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Deploy and manage applications in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and ensure the scalability and reliability of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in cloud-based applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks.

Must-Have Qualifications :

• 5+ years in Java with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming.
• 5+ years in Spring Boot and associated technologies like Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes for automated build and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and messaging systems like Kafka is a plus.
