Corridor and Excel experience recommended.
Education and Experience Requirements Associate's Degree Aviation Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years related experience. Position Purpose:Supports Service Center Operations projects. Works closely with Scheduling and the Business Office to support the goals and objectives of Service Center Operations. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
- Establishes Bill of Material and forwards to Spares so parts and materials can be ordered and received prior to aircraft arrival.
- Performs follow-up on due dates on material to resolve any timing problems that would impact the aircraft project plan.
- Determines job requirements from support groups for each project (i.e., Custom Engineering, Service Engineering, Back Shops, Outside Vendors).
- Downloads CMP as required. and adjusts for concurrent tasks and hours needed to complete each project.
- Establishes and/or adjusts work descriptions and standard hours while keeping the work order system in sync with the standard hours.
- Develops a project flow chart working from data base templates and operations to preplan each project.
- Supports Operations with all requirements for project planning.
- If applicable, conducts training for other planners and fills in for Group Leader and/or Scheduler. .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to retain confidential information is necessary.
- Familiarity with aircraft terminology, components and systems including FAA regulations.
- Very familiar with inspection requirements and CMP.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
